Logo Design Contest
Create a new logo for the Malaysian-German Society!
Competition period: 15 December 2018 – 1 March 2019
Introduction
Strengthen the Malaysian-German relations by taking part in our open logo contest. The purpose of this contest is to design a new logo for the Malaysian-German Society (MGS).
Anybody is invited to take part in this competition. The winning design will become our new logo!
The Malaysian-German Society (MGS) in Penang was founded in 1962 by a foresighted German and a few Malaysians with the intention to promote friendship, understanding and good relationships between the people of Malaysia and Germany. Besides teaching German to Malaysians, we organize cultural and social events throughout the year, such as German breakfasts, movie nights, talks, art exhibitions, concerts, an open day, the annual Mai Ball, our famous Oktoberfest and a Christmas bazaar.
Members of our society are not only Germans, but also expatriates from other countries and Malaysians. Beside the private memberships, we have a number of corporate members supporting us and making the most of the connections and exposure we offer.
As a German language centre and cultural institution, we are well known among the community and beyond. Many of our members still have a strong relationship with Penang and the Malaysian-German Society even after having left the country.
