Germany Insight – Political Environment, Diversity and Integration

Thanks to Dr. Nils Schoeche, the MGS was happy top welcome and present a talk with Kathrin Heidl on the 21 February. Ms Heidl is Head of the Cultural and Press Department of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany. She explained the system of Federalism and gave information about the different political parties as well as how elections are done and the government is formed after an election.
Another interesting topic was the composition of the German society, the different ethnic groups, religions and immigration. Around 27 people attended this talk and many questions were answered by Ms Heidl.
