Oktoberfest
For more than 40 years the MGS Oktoberfest Penang has drawn people from far and wide and over time it has became so popular that it has to be held on two consecutive nights in October. Every year we host a Bavarian band who is flown in especially from the south of Germany. You can expect authentic German food and beer in a true Oktoberfest atmosphere. Traditionally, German Oktoberfest is a beer festival. We promise you a few original Oktoberfest beers as well as a variety of local and international brands. Your taste buds will be delighted with the finest German delicacies like sausages, meatloaf, Sauerkraut, pretzels and more. Local and pork free food will also be provided as well as non-alcoholic drinks. Traditional games and entertainment for both adults and children will complete this unique experience. Finally, a large and usually packed dance floor tempts everyone to join in.
